"I have been employed at Westside Care Center for over twenty years. I started in the Dietary Department as a Dietary Aide, and was soon promoted to Chef. I was so happy working at Westside, and my role in the Dietary Department, that I decided to focus my education on Food Services. In 1996, I graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Nutritional Services. Shortly after, Westside promoted me as the Food Service Director for the facility. Through my years working here I have been extremely impressed with the teamwork and feeling of unity that is demonstrated throughout all the Departments. All of the employees work very well together to provide our residents with the most optimal care. This unified team approach for providing high quality care truly sets our team apart and makes me feel very proud of our team and family here at Westside Care Center."
